Welcome to the “Futures Workshop” hosted by DPP as part of the North Shore Sustainability Communities Plan (NSSCP) update. This two-part workshop includes a Futures Symposium as well as online Policy Deep Dives and provides the public with an opportunity to:
- Learn about recent trends and how they could impact the North Shore’s future.
- Explore alternative future scenarios for the North Shore.
- Discuss ideas for creatively addressing challenges that fit the community’s vision.
- Share stories of community resilience.

Part 1: Futures Symposium
A virtual symposium was hosted via Zoom on June 30th as part one of this two-part workshop. The symposium featured the following presentations and speakers:
